Smart Solution Center


What We Do

 

Center will be located at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia.

In the first phase of the project, in 2019 it is planned to establish two classrooms with three up to date equipped labs:

  • Industrial Cybersecurity
  • Microelectronics
  • IoT

Later, we are planning to expand Center’s activities by increasing the quantity of Labs up to 20, according to new directions.

The Center will provide students with an opportunity to design and maintain complex systems based on Cybersecurity, Microelectronics, IoT technology, 5G, Smart City, Smart Home, self-controlled devices, Big Data, Infrastructure security, Machine learning, AI, and more.

Center will have Master’s degree program. Moreover, it is planned  to organize different trainings and qualification improvment courses, which will provide new financial flow for NPUA.

The main goal of the center is to promote cooperation between private sector and the university and to provide qualified specialists, meeting modern requirements.

Curricula will be developed by professionals from leading companies of the field, taking into account the globally recognized educational programs and the potential of the NPUA.

It is envisaged that the teaching will be carried out by the lecturers of NPUA and their trainings will be carried out by relevant specialists and certified specialists.

Project monitoring, management and coordination will be carried out by the UEICT.

The project includes the following components:

  • Purchasing of equipment, networking
  • Repairing of Laboratories
  • Furnishing of Laboratories
  • Development of training programs
  • Trainings of lecturers
  • Organization of selectioncompetition for lecturers, management and coordination of all works, implementation of printing and editorial works.
